I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong (4th in QS World University Ranking aged under 50 and 7th in Times University Ranking aged under 50). My PhD supervisor is Dr. Jacky Keung.
My current research lies at the intersection of empirical software engineering and AI. Recently, I am trying to employ the knowledge of data stream mining, statistical modeling, and empirical investigation to produce more reliable defect prediction models. I am broadly interested in understanding and improving software defect prediction for non-stationary distributions.
I was a graduate student in Software Engineering, International School of Software, Wuhan University, working with Prof. Han Bo. I received MEng degree in Software Engineering from Wuhan University, China. I received my BSc degree in Software Engineering from Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I had been worked there as a faculty member in that same department since 2014, and at present, I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Americal International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
